Altri-SP-881LP significantly improves the leveling properties in gel coats that are based on unsaturated polyester resins, and is preferably used in combination with air release agents such as Altri-SP-8802XP The additive is used as an air release agent in polyurethane systems and promotes leveling in solvent-free epoxy resin coatings.

Recommended Levels

0.5-1.5 % additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

Incorporation and Processing Instructions

The additive is preferably added to the resin before adding the other raw materials, and can also be easily incorporated in the finished system.
