軟起動器是一種用來控制鼠籠型異步電動機的新設備，集電機軟起動、軟停車、輕載節(jié)能和多種保護功能于一體的新穎電機控制裝置，外稱為Soft Starter。它的主要構(gòu)成是串接于電源與被控電機之間的三相反并聯(lián)閘管及其電子控制電路。運用不同的方法，控制三相反并聯(lián)晶閘管的導通角，使被控電機的輸入電壓按不同的要求而變化，就可實現(xiàn)不同的功能。 2、軟起動器的應用范圍？ 原則上，鼠籠型異步電動機凡不需要調(diào)速的各種應用場合都可適用。目前的應用范圍是交流380V（也可660V），電機功率從幾千瓦到800kW。軟起動器特別適用于各種泵類負載或風機類負載，需要軟起動與軟停車的場合。
軟啟動器常見故障處理措施 （1）上電后不顯示 1）檢查控制電源是否接入。 2）檢查顯示屏連接線是否插緊。 3）檢查控制板有沒有問題。 （2）報缺相故障 1）啟動方式采用帶電方式時，操作順序有誤。正確操作順序應為先送主電源，后送控制電源。 2）電源缺相或者三相電未上，軟啟動器保護動作（檢查電源）。 3）軟啟動器的輸出端未接負載。 4）控制板有問題。 （3）啟動完畢旁路接觸器不合 1）在啟動過程中，保護裝置因整定偏小出現(xiàn)誤動作（將保護裝置重新整定即可）。 2）在調(diào)試時，軟啟動器的參數(shù)設置不合理（主要針對的是55kW以下的軟啟動器，對軟啟動器的參數(shù)重新設置）
