Monel 合金404合金主要用于特殊的電氣和電子行業(yè)，Monel合金 404 的化學(xué)成分控制要求嚴(yán)格，具有低居里溫度點(diǎn)，低磁感和優(yōu)良的可釬焊性等特征。
Monel合金404可采用普通的焊接技術(shù)焊接，可鍛造，但不適宜于熱作加工。可使用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)工具進(jìn)行冷作加工，使用較軟的模具材料，即可獲得更好的表面質(zhì)量。材料的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)代號(hào)為UNS N04404，相關(guān)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為ASTM F96。合金404合金的用途包括：晶體管膠囊和陶瓷金屬封裝。
